A woman will always be looking good enough when she is in her own way. But why the people are saying “you are scary” at her when she is independent and intelligent. I wonder how come being intelligent and independent be scary to people? Here, the thing is men feel intimidated and feel inferior towards an independent woman. Later I realised that men intuitively want to be superior in every phase, and it jolts them to find that a woman is being independent and intelligent. so, It Takes an Independent Woman to make men feel Intimidated

An Independent woman

Strong independent women must have self-confidence and emotional independence and are able to have healthy relationship with others. She can seek solutions at any impediments that will make her happier even by letting go of the things or people who she is troubled by. As an independent woman makes her decision, she is well aware of the consequence as well as the payback and drawbacks, so she is thoughtful enough. She always receives the opinions of others, but at last, she is gutsy to follow her sense. She makes herself heard, taken into account and drawn in any situations.

Why most men feel intimidated by independent women?

Across countries, women are no longer let stayed at home under the guidance of their own father until they are handed over to their husband to be taken care by him. Women today are educated. Nowadays women have been given more opportunities to advance, take charge, lead and take care of themselves. These are intimidating men, I think. Independent women make money

The global labour force input rate for women is just over 50 % compared to 80% of women. Whatever women work more and paid less, it is still patent that women make more. The modern women are more capable of supporting herself financially, that means women are completely capable enough to pay their bills and do things by theirselves. Here, proving a man that you are making money for your own stuff is intimidating.

Women’s maturity and smartness

The independent women are mostly ambitious. They allot their time to work towards whatever their goals may be. They will never seek for consideration from their men. Her action often prove they have more responsibilities rather than those of the household activities. Usually it is the habitual happening that men like to be the primary and superior. They need to teach the things from the scratch like women are their child. When women go out of their way by being matured and smarter than them, they will start feeling intimidated because it is hard for them to accept the inferiority and secondary positions as they learnt it from the patriarchal teachings.

Men’s belief in traditional gender roles

A woman who is not willing to be like the past generation’s wife, is a threat for men nowadays. They grownup like women’s role is cooking and cleaning the house all the time and raising their children and also taking a modest job (only when “he” permits). I’m out laughed here, because “bro.. seriously?”.

Women are not there to serve the man’s needs. Actually they are soaked in the patriarchy from birth and are complaining about the independent women who they married.

If you feel so, then you are under toxic masculinity. An independent woman has a strong sense of self and will never allow herself to be controlled and abused even for the sake of relationships. Modern men should abandon all these immature beliefs about the traditional gender roles. By these reasons also men feel intimidated by the independent women.

An independent woman is a hardass

Independent women will let men know what she needs and what is her focus with. Women will save relationships at any cost. If this is messed up with men’s cheating or by their behaviors, they may forgive it for a while; and if it is gone beyond the limits she will definitely show you how the game play is. I guess independent women want men but they don’t need men to define their worthiness and their happiness. Men need a woman and a relationship to validate them.

Some men feel that their self-worth is not validated without a woman in their life. Actually, men are needy and dependent, but not the independent women.

Signs that men are intimidated by women

To be intimidated, is a complex issue that involves men’s ego, insecurities and their toxic masculinity. Men can check out these signs to know whether they are intimidated or other.

1. Men talk about her to others easily, but struggles to speak to her directly.
2. Men get jealous easily
3. Men will be overly polite
4. Men will never make the first move
5. Men often stumble over their words.

Conclusion

And when they face an independent woman who handle all the challenges that according to her own belief, men feel inadequate and intimidated. Men should understand that women do not rely on the support of a man to get through life. And I feel like these are something that is become much more apparent in this generation.
